Jet Airways Konnect - A Low Fare Service from Jet Airways

Jet Airways , one of India's international airlines, has introduced its new Economy service named Jet Airways Konnect starting from May 08,2009. Jet Airways Konnect is an economy class low-fare service. It's been introduced specifically to cater the needs of the consumer opting for low fares. Jet Airways Konnect offers a no-frills and economy class service where consumers will be offered competitive low fares on selected routes.

Jet Airways Konnect will operate with dedicated aircrafts and unique flight numbers ranging from 9W2000 – 2999. This will help the travelling guests and travel agents to identify the class of service they are concerned with. The on ground and in flight service of Jet Airways Konnect will be provided by Jet Airways staff. The only difference here is that the travellers will have to buy their meals on the flight effective from June 01,2009.

The Jet Airways Konnect service will operate on sectors such as Chennai-Coimbatore, Chennai-Madurai, Chennai-Kochi, Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Mumbai-Bhopal, Mumbai-Udaipur, Bengaluru-Pune, Bengaluru-Mangalore.

Commenting on the launch of Jet Airways Konnect, Mr.Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officier said

"Consumer demands are changing rapidly in a dynamic global environment, we believe the Jet Airways Konnect service will give us the flexibility and speed to deploy capacity to meet these changing trends .”

Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 86 aircrafts with over 370 flights daily connecting to 63 destinations.
Jet Airways, with the acquisition of JetLite, today has a combined fleet strength of 109 aircraft and operates over 484 flights daily.
