Internet Bus Project now in Karnataka

Google is well known by its internet products like Web Search, Orkut, Gmail, Google Maps etc. But now you have another reason to praise Google. Google may be visiting your near town to offer the first-hand experience on what is internet.As stated on the Google India Blog,

"Google India is continuing it's efforts to increase awareness of the benefits of Internet in India. Our goal is to take the Internet "straight to the people", therefore kick-starting adoption."

Buoyed by the success of the Internet Bus Project in Tamilnadu, Google is now visiting another south indian state of Karnataka. The bus will travel through the 15 towns of Karnataka in coming 50 days. The Internet Bus will focus on four themes - Information, Communication, Entertainment and Education. Caring about the native language of the Karnataka state, information will be provided in English and Kannada.
