10 April, 2009
As days and weeks are passing, Gmail is growing rapidly. Gmail, which recently facilitated to change email language and display language, has come up with the functionality to insert image directly into email messages.
“Inserting images” is an optional feature and is not available by default inside your Gmail interface. To activate this feature, Go to the Labs (Settings > Labs) and enable “Inserting images” gadget.
As shown in the picture, click on the image icon to add images inside your email message. You can insert images from your computer hard drive as well as from web address (URL).
This facility won’t show up in Plain Text mode and therefore make sure to be in Rich Formatting mode. To get rid of spam, Gmail will not show the URL based images directly. You’ll have to click “Display images below” to see the embedded images.
